in-laws and parents met for the first time today, mr and mrs Disco and mr and mrs lukey in the same house at the same time. funnery.
me and the lady made our first big combined purchase today and decided to splash out on a widescreen tv. we are so grown up. to my chagrin, mummies and daddies didn't seem to want to discuss the wedding plans.
i bought Disco a pretty pony. she bought me tickets to atp.
my mum and dad gave us the sweetest present ever; in a hand-decorated box we found guides to paris and a little card informing us of their wish to send us away for a DIRTY WEEKEND. (they didn't actually go that far, but we kids do what we do...)
my bestest present, though, was being made to feel so welcome as part of the Disco family - it's like i have two sets of parents. which, i suppose, will almost be the case in law from july 2007...
that and the matching socks of no discernible sock shape.
