i'm vee excited cos my bestest friend who is a girl after my girlfriend, who is also a girl and my bestest friend, well, her band's debut album comes out on monday and it's going to be in my shop tomorrow. it's nice cos i feel like i had a bit of an input - for one, i chose their producer for them, recommended a studio and told them what order to put the tracks in. i managed them for a week too until i decided to move out of london. anyway, yeah, help she can't swim's 'fashionista super dance troupe' is released on fantastic plastic records on monday, priced about 7.99. buy it. kerrang likened it to post-hardcore, sonic youth riot grrl. i think it's a bit like bis without the bleeping. buy it.

i shall skip off into the distance now. all fucking happy.
