So happy new year and all that! I have no idea what my new year resolution is this year. I should probably give up smoking and drink less but then these are some of the finer things in life

My last years resolution was to work hard enough at my photography to actually sell some photos and in November my work was published in a book called Liverpool 800 which is a book about the cultural history of Liverpool. I was comissioned to take the "today" photos. So it took me 10 months but i got there

I spent christmas day with my gran which was really nice and i think she was very happy that we met at her house for once. I got loads of books and films for christmas which is ace including a load of new stuff from my sister that are review copies of books to be released over the next year! I am presently reading Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed which is quite amazing and I throughly recommend it.

Things seem to generally not be so great at the moment;

1. My best friend wants to split up with her boyf but is having a real hard time of it
2. I have been persistently sick for around amonth which blows
3. I remainly hopelessly single and bored
4. I am still working far too hard
5. One of my angel fish died

Although at the work christmas party i won a holiday in the lake district which rocks and possibly makes up for some of the bad stuff!

New year rocked hard. Possibly too hard in fact. We drank, smoked and did generally naughty stuff for 48 hours straight and although i didn't really wake up till last weekend it was totally deserved and fun.
