On Health Care Reform. i post this on an msnbc blog "Did Obama campaign on public option?"
pass the bill. public option or not, it not like we have to wait a certain amount of time before we can work on a public option again. US has been talking about a "public option" since FDR, Truman, JFK, Johnson, Carter, Clinton and now Obama. another step forward is better than no step at all. progress takes time we didn't get social security, medicare, medicaid and s-chip over night. hopefully we do get a public option in obama's first term. Obama still has 3 more yrs better late than never.

some people call a public option (single payer) is a step to socialism. i call it a guaranteed at the American dream, why in USA "greatest country on earth" should you be hold back because you got sick and now have health care bills.
