FYI, Serenity - The movie based off my favorite TV show that went straight to DVD after 10 episodes because FOX is fucking stupid about TV if it's not reality-based (and even then...) - has a trailer coming out today!!!!
Captain Malcolm Reynolds is a hardened veteran on the losing side of a galactic civil war, who now ekes out a living pulling off small crimes and transport-for-hire aboard his ship, Serenity, which coincidentally was named after the valley that the war was lost in.
"Mal" leads a small, eclectic crew who are the closest thing he has left to family - squabbling, insubordinate and undyingly loyal. He takes on two new passengers-a young doctor and his unstable, telepathic sister, and gets much more than he bargained for.
The pair are fugitives from the coalition dominating the universe, who will stop at nothing to reclaim the telepathic sister. Another new passenger is a man who professes to be a man of the cloth, a "shepherd" who calls himself, Book.
