I have started playing Dungeons and Dragons. This game has inspired so much in my life it is amazing. My Character is a Kitsune Druid. She is called Megara Lace. I got her name from Hercules, the girl with the purple dress that Hercules falls in love with and Lace because it is my favorite fabric.

Now for the fun stuff :) This is my background story.

I am of royal decent, my family owns the kingdom. I grew up with a sister and she was the one person who always understood me. She grew up just like me, not being allowed to use our magic because it was a "dirty" thing for royals to use it. So we were trapped from using our magic. Never wanting to question our parents we keep to the rule and never ventured into practicing it. I however couldn't stand it.

One day I decided I wanted to start trying to understand this thing inside of me. I knew my powers were there and that they were getting stronger but I also knew I wouldn’t be able to express them without getting into trouble and I really didn't know what to do when it came to learning it. SO i found myself walking around the castle thinking of ways I could possibly learn in secret when the idea hit me, like literally hit me. A stone that was flying across the quart yard and hit me right in the head; I turned around the see one of the servant boys looking very scared and apologizing immediately accepted his apology in exchange for the chance to learn magic through this.

for weeks we practiced and at first it wasn’t great, I got angry at him so many times, it drove me insane but I knew it was good for me and the determination behind this helped me push past and finally i understood how to work with my natural gift. The only part I didn't bargain for was falling in love with the servant boy. My family found out and sentenced him to death immediately forcing me to leave them and my life at the castle behind.

I traveled for a few months and helped out a few people while learning to fight. Soon my skills were great and my defense was strong. I had learnt to yield a 3/4 staff and cast magic to help those in need.

One day I was sitting in a tavern in Nosgarrth, the city I was currently staying in, just minding my own business and trying to find new Jobs(quests) to go on when this big orc decides to fight with me. Everything turns into a massive tavern brawl and in this entire battle a small dwarf decides to throw an axe at the stone monk that was sitting next to me in the corner of the tavern. He takes a lot of damage and almost dies.

Niemly - The Guild Leader - steps out of the chambers above the bar and immediately casts a smoke to put everyone to sleep. He walks around and revives me and the stone monk. We follow him to his chamber where he turns to the monk and says

"Stones, you need to look after this lady, she is very important and very special to the guild"

Niemly quickly turns to me and I feel this rush of cold rush over me at the fact that this man who i have never met already knows so much about me.

"Megara, welcome to my guild, I am glad you have joined us.

He turned to Stones and in a hurry over to him and heals him completely. Stones Stands up and asks Niemly, “what is this thing" he points to me.

She is very important, she is a part of a royalty we don’t want to disrupt, and you need to promise to me that you will protect her" he gives Stones a very stern look and Stones agrees.
Niemly leads Stones and I back to the bar area where he further revives 3 more guild members: Styx, A goblin rogue with a gnomish upbringing and an interest in the arcana, John, a monk lvl2 and warlock lvl3 tiefling that has no true alliance and takes everything with a cautious mind set and Cujo, a full orc anti paladin that just wants to hit everything.
As Niemly is about the explain to everyone who I am a man runs into the bar screaming,
“Help!!! Come quick my barn is under attack! Please come quickly”
“Calm down sir what is your name” , Niemly asks in a calm voice. “My names Thomas, I have no time for this please hurry” – and with that Thomas rushes out of the door hoping everyone will follow.
by this time I had already gotten my gear ready and I have seen the others get ready as well and with that we all rush out the door Thomas, leaving Niemly behind in the bar to heal and wake up the rest of the guild.

And with that I am going to say good night, this is not where the session ended but it is where I will stop because it is already very long. <3
