1 year anniversary of being an SG by Lufae

This ride has been incredible. On 2 Feb 2014 Front page was graced by a new Suicide Girl, This new Suicide Girl was me. That day was the greatest day of my life. I had never thought i would ever get this far with Suicide Girls. It was only a few years ago I found myself browsing the internet and trying to find a way to have my tattoos and still model. I had come across the site by chance while looking at alt model images, in complete envy that I couldn't be that yet. My self esteem was pretty low at the time and not much hope in succeeding as a model. When I opened the site I saw the most beautiful, most happy girls I had ever seen. I explored the site, as much as one can without a membership and started figuring out my favorite girls, which ones made me feel like I wanted to be here, I wanted to join.
I had argued with myself for months on end of talking to my mom about it or nor, My mom is my best friend I don't hide my SG life from her at all, eventually I spoke to her and she told me she would think about it, The morning after I asked I was expecting a no but instead breakfast went down with a very sweet, "You may join SG" My heart skipped beats and I hugged my mum tightly and started planning on how to join.
After getting all my forms and things sent in I shot a photo set with a photographer of mine for my portfolio for SG. (all photos will be at the bottom, In order)

I got accepted to join SG and started shooting sets, I had shot 4 sets in the space of 2 years and tried to get better (most of those have been archived already) I had struggled through doubt and tears, I grew more confident by the community and the lovely girls I grew to know. One by one most of my hopeful friends were becoming SGs and I started to get nervous.
Then one day I flew up to JHB where @talamia lived. We spoke for a bit about shooting and set and when we got together we started to create the set that got me front page. When we arrived at the location we sat for 4 hours talking, getting to know each other, it was incredible how relaxed she can make people (I'm convinced it's her secret weapon to great sets!) We shot the set and while shooting @talamia explained more about SG in details and what to do and reasons why I could be stuck as a hopeful and I took all those things in and pushed harder to do my best! Just after shooting that set I went from LuckyLu to LuFae.

Finally my set was edited and arrived in member review and my nerves were worse than anything, I had put everything into this set, It has paid off. I received an email a few weeks later from a friend saying my set was Front Page. My life had finally made sense to me. I finally knew why I was fighting to succeed. I had achieved my dream of being apart of such an amazing community that makes me feel more accepted than any other community.
