I Am so sorry I have been completely MIA lately, I was confused by the new site and honestly was exploring more than anything else.
I have so much to tell you all... Hmmmm where to start... Well for one, I have completely moved away from Cape Town. I now live in the wonderful little world of Pretoria. I have been so busy trying to get everything ready for the big move and on Thursday I took the short but annoyingly crammed 2 hour flight from Cape Town To Johannesburg, Which was then followed by a wonder 45 minute journey to my new apartment!!
I also went to Rage this year.. For those who don't know what Rage is, It's a massive gaming expo. You get a choice between the pricey Lan ticket which means you take your pc there on the Thursday night, camp out until 4am and then go into the hall to set out and you spend Friday, Saturday and Sunday there, in front of your pc playing a bunch of games (I got that ticket!) or you can go for the less expensive but not as fun day-pass ticket, where you enter just the expo(shop) area and look at the cosplay and maybe buy a new pc rig.
I did the Lanning ticket and needless to say it was not a disappointment at all. in fact Rage was probably one of the best weekends I have had in a long time. I went with my Clan Founder Husqy and a few of his friends. It was amazing. We set up the pcs by 5am and were in games by 6:30a. The only time we left was when we needed sleep (the wonders of a blow up mattress), Coffee (which gaming lan is complete without coffee!!) and food (cuz well.. we need to eat haha) We spend most of our time just playing games (me on Alice the Madness Continues and Husqy on the new Battlefield 4, which he has promised to teach me as I suck as FPS games) It was amazing.
I then went home and decided that I was going move to Pretoria and now here I am. laying on my new ed, in my new apartment. Life couldn't be better.
I would also like to explain the reason for the name change. I was LuckyLu but after having long nights of thinking about it I decided a name change with my new life would be a better idea so I have gone for LuFae (Fae as in Faeries).
Onto more fun things!! I have joined a clan! Okay well I joined them 6 months ago. They are a league of legends gaming clan called TmA (Tempest Asylum) I have started playing more competitively now and hopefully next year I will be apart of the Rage competition. it happens every year and the winners get amazing prizes. TmA has started an internal tournament. so we take our 80 odd members and split them into teams of 5 and the teams play against each other until there is one team left. I have been made Capitan of one of the teams, we are known as Bella and the Beasts. so far practice has been going well but we have yet to play a game against another team as one of our members has exams. So for now its just team practice every Tuesday and Thursday.
