SOoo, i'm super excited about Christmas only being less than a week away! This is the first year that i have all of my holiday shopping done before Christmas Eve. I'm pretty broke this year, which i hate, but so does everyone. The worst part of it has to be that my favorite thing about Christmas is giving. I feel as though, i didn't have the means to give as much this year, which makes me sad. So, my plan of attack is to help out at a local shelter, serving dinner to those in need. I have a feeling it may be more satisfying than giving presents to friends. I've always wanted to do it, but with traveling to see family, it's never been an option. This year, its not in the budget to travel. But like i said, i think i will be more satisfied this season helping others.

Anyways, i have to get back to gift wrapping. I want to bring cookies into work on monday. Anyone have a good recipe, or two?
