I think this is № 1 in a series of posts on puberty, specifically puberty as viewed from the inside by someone going through it for the second time, but heading towards the opposite gender outcome; boy->man the first time around, as a teen, and man->woman the second time, decades later.

Or maybe it's not. Maybe I'll just scream "I hate you...

Finally, I'm on œstrogen (estrogen if you're a colonial). It's such a relief 👯♀️👯. It’s strange, but it really does make me feel more of a woman. Hopefully it will do something to fix my body 😊. And get rid of some of the hair ☹! Due to stuff, there’s a real chance that the male suppressing drugs (cardiac arrest), and the...

On my old blog, I wrote about what it felt like for me to go through puberty as an adult, something most people don't get the chance to experience 😂. Lucky them, but it's interesting.

I've decided to repost those here, as my old account is pretty much dormant now. Someone might gain something from them.

I bought a book called "The joy of the Piano".

Here’s a Latin joke I got from Sandi Toksvig today:

The proof given earlier fails in one case. Where the task consists of: 'Saying "It's easier done than said"'. In that one special case, the task is self evidently easier done than said, and thus the proof fails.

I apologise for this most egregious and unforgivable error. Mea culpa.

Try assuming the opposite, "It's easier done than said", and you'll quickly see that it's easier said that "It's easier done than said" than it's done.

@redberry

A girl whose beauty lights a darker way.

Whose roan tresses tumble, tincture gay,

And grace those shoulders, shaped as may

The beauteous form of elven fairy fay,

A dawn, Aurora, softly strives to say,

“Live me, this wond’rous winter day”,

Whilst flaming curls upon her bosom lay.

My girl, my friend, my labour’s pay.
