I loved Walk the Line. I thought the director made some really good choices in the storyline and the organization of it all. The Pitch (dumbest thing ever) was bitching about it being too simple, too much of a blow-by-blow of his life. Also that Pheonix didn't seem to "become" Cash. What a load of bullshit. Cash's story doesn't need any bells and whistles, and it wouldn't fit the movie if it were too flowery. And I thought Pheonix made Cash seem like a real man, instead of some pop rebel icon that everyone and their mother knows him as. Because he was, after all, a great man for more reasons than the "middle finger" picture. Pshh... And who could really "become" Johnny fuckin Cash? Nobody, right? Just like Shooter couldn't "become" Waylon. Duh.
Let's see... crazy relatives are in town, the band's gonna practice soon.. I've acquired 2 new toy cameras since I last updated, and that's about it. Also my van is back in working condition.
