I've been tagged by the beautiful Brixton to participate in a 20 facts game, so here goes my best attempt...
1. My lip color is "Certainly Red" by Revlon (which I swear by now. Revlon is the best!)
2. I'm with someone older than I am, who is the most gentlemanly person I've ever met, save for a few older Jewish men.
3. Speaking of Jewish, my grandparents escaped from Germany in 1938 and 1939, and I've grown up surrounded by survivors
4. I come off as cold, but I'm extremely passionate
5. I secretly wish I could take all my pictures with my Holga camera
6. I decided to try art school about 2 weeks ago (way too late).
7. I am the co-president of a club at my school, after never being involved with school activities ever
8. People my own age make me really uncomfortable, save for my closest friends, who range from a year younger to a few years older
9. My greatest fear is not doing anything with my life that people will remember
10. Freshman year I realized that I get too worked up about things, so I started a zine with one of my best friends. Now I do it alone, and I love doing it. I need to work on the next issue really badly.
11. My closest friend of years recently completely stripped her life of all things meaningful (including me) and I think about her every day
12. I love Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad
13. Three friends of mine have died over the past 6 years. The first in seventh grade from a sudden anneurism (sp?) in her brain, the second in ninth grade from cancer, and the third last year.
14. I work at a coffee shop
15. I have a large collection of vintage bras
16. I broke a boy's heart two Junes ago, leaving him for my current man. I don't feel guilty about it.
17. I'm in an all-girl band, and we try our hardest to not be identified as such, because most all-girl bands suck. We get along better than any group of girls I've ever seen in my life, maybe even group of boys. I love em and we went on tour last summer.
18. I've only been blackout drunk once in my life, and made a complete ass of myself, blathering about punk rock and throwing up all over myself. I was 15.
19. I'm almost never jealous
20. I have over 100 records alone, and I love telling other people about bands or any of the like, just as I like hearing new suggestions from people who know me.
