i had a very long weekend.
thursday morning - drove to las vegas very early in the morning to spend the weekend with family and help cook a huge thanksgiving meal. after all the eating was done we drove to a casino that wasnt even on the vegas strip. anyway, we got home at around 1am and at 2:30 am i was awaken by the phone - bad news about grandma back in tijuana.
friday morning drove back to san diego.
saturday morning about a million family members show up at my house. it doesnt even feel like we're about to go to a funeral. it's all crazy. in the evening we went to the funeral place. a cousin is in the hospital having a beatiful baby boy. it's raining, it's cold, it's horrable so we decide to get a hotel.
sunday morning they held a mass for grandma. a very emotional hour. after that was the burial. when that was done everyone went home and that was that.
