Good luck on the Japan thing, I hear they're fairly good on it, the fact that they accept people with no japanese skill at all spins me out. I would love to go, but sadly I think duty calls here.
I once saw a japanese surf movie, like not a surf vid, but a movie movie with a plot that revolved around surf, small surf, but they ride it well.

the eruption yesterday was super trippy, wonder if it'll boom again soon.
nothing crazy going on today, just working and hanging
...do have quite the weekend (not)planned. got a hot date, should be an interesting experience to say the least.

One of my best friends back in St. Louis plays in a rec league on a baseball team with Nelly and Murphy Lee. So he's sorta like my homeboy, ya know?
In all reality if I was to walk outside right now and Nelly was there, I would just be another fan who says, "Hey Nelly, I'm friends with so and so, and you know him right?"
I did see the St. Lunatics play a few times before Nelly signed his record contract. I moved out of St. Louis about, 4 months after Country Grammar came out, and my first day going to school in New Mexico I walked into a record store and they had a huge Nelly display, and I said, "Holy shit! Homeboy's made it!" Sure I had heard him on the radio but I just thought they were supporting the local boy ya know? Now he owns the Bobcats.
