That's Right!!! Earl shouldn't been throwing bad weather at any of us on a holiday weekend!!!

Hopefully Earl won't be that bad when it hits VA. I am hoping the same when it hits MD. I will be a little upset if we get tons of rain and I can't go watch our Minor League team the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs play. I can actually use my season tickets for a change.

No, not all men are like this, but many are - and some women are too.
But mostly its just men who are disrespectful, chauvinist pigs, who probably watch too much porn, or subscribe to too much pop culture where women are objectified, and treated with disrespect. Unfortunately, I think your comment illustrates a lot of what is problematic of our current culture. These men often become business men who do the same thing in their jobs - they travel, cheat on their wives, and fly along on their self-centered, narcissistic 'magic' carpet, until they realize there's a lot more to life than money.
These 'boys' probably don't read any books, watch meaningful TV programs, or listen to interesting, thought provoking radio shows or think about life (or the world) beyond their little fragile bubble.
Fear not, you don't spend too much time reading, although you should get out and live life outside too - just don't hang out with guys like this. Remember, you can pick your friends.
