Well I wanted to post a nice, long journal entry about "how I spent my summer vacation" (the last couple of weeks), but I can't figure out how to re-size all the pics I wanted to post!

So much for living with a "computer guy". What's the use of knowing how to write code if you don't even know how to size a pic? I mean c'mon!

So here's the short version:
--Took some time off work.
--Went to the schoolhouse in PA. Battled some squirrels, helped fight breast cancer, killed a lot of weeds.
--My sister and her two little rugrats came in from San Fran. Cutest little girls ever. If I could post pics I'd prove it!
--Took sis and girls to Philly, where our 'rents met us. Had a family-fun time over Memorial Day weekend and for a couple of days afterwards. My sis got to spend some time w/ my ailing g'parents. The kids got to swim and meet cousins they didn't know they had. It's a very big family! 10 kids, 24 grandkids, 19 great-grandkids (so far). Oldest grandkid=41, youngest =5. Oldest great grandkid=21, youngest=newborn.
--Went back to the schoolhouse w/ plans to hit Knoebbel's Grove Amusement Park, but the weather had other plans, so we settled on Madagascar and exploring.
--Returned to NYC, did touristy kid-friendly things. Took the girls to an off-Broadway show which totally made their YEAR! Thanks JohnnyMeatFreak!
--Tried to convince my sister to leave behind her lovely life out west but was unsuccessful. Tried plan B: devise a way to kidnap the girls but was unsuccessful.

Now they're gone and I'm sad.

I want to find a way to just kind of bend the US in half so that NYC is closer to San Francisco. Any ideas?

So can anyone tutor me on the whole picture re-sizing thing???
