Finally have a few minutes to check in here, only to find out that one of my friends has died. 
I will miss him. Although my interactions with him were infrequent, they were lovely and quite memorable. May he rest in peace, or have a delightful time in his next life. This life makes no sense sometimes. *sigh*
My house is filled with boxes. I won't have much time to catch up with you all until some time next week. I miss everyone! I have to go to Philly on Sunday to get my grandma's couch and chair. Anyone (esp all you big strong handsome fellas) want to go with me? I could really use the company and the extra muscle... And someone to help demolish the pizza and beer!
Ohter than moving and dealing with work BS, I am trying to break some long-held bad habits (not smoking-type habits, more like behavioral stuff, periodic laziness, emotional dependence, y'know, that kind of crap). It ain't easy. Ever break a habit successfully (i.e. permanently?) Got any advice?
Can anyone make the days an extra hour longer? Please???

The day can be made longer, as soon as we convert to metric time. don't know how that works, though
someone recently told me that habits can never be broken, just replaced. the best I can come up with right now is: raising and breeding tropical fish.
We must catch up soon.
