Ouch, my face hurts today! frown
Surgery was fine, quick and uncomplicated. No bruising or bleeding. Felt well enough to moderate the Fahrenheit 9/11 teleconference w/ Michael Moore last night.

I am generally NOT that political, but the thought of Bush being re-elected just plain SCARES me! eeek The discussion last night raised some really good points, on which I won't elaborate here...

I think I am going to join forces w/ activists in the swing states, particulary Pennsylvania (proximity and family ties) and Ohio (I AM an Ohio girl, after all...) to get more people registered to vote and get them to actually vote!!!

On a lighter note, can you BELIEVE this weather???? Just beautiful!!! Perfect for a "sick day"!

Nothing quite like living along. I went from my parent's house to living alone for 5 years or so. This was the first year I actually decided to share a place, for monetary reasons. It's just not worth it. Even if it's your best friend (and my roomie is one of my best), it's so much better to live alone.

Yes, band. I play guitar and sing in a punk band called the Rules of Attraction. Nothing serious, just playing some shows, making an occasional record, having fun. Not going to stand in the way of my real career choice: science geek. There's some pictures in my profile of us playing.
