Sorry, it's been a few days since I've updated. Just had a hella busy weekend. The tattoo expo was great. I'm sorry to see that it's over, but at the same time, if I had to walk thru the same area for another day, I'd probably go crazy. After 3 days, it just gets a little tiresome. 
Can't wait until the Hell City one in a few months. We'll be heading down to Ohio for that one. It should blow away the Detroit expo. I was rather let down that a few of the artists that I wanted to see weren't there. John Clue for one... I wanted to talk to him about getting some work done, and also Paul Booth... while he is not the nicest guy in the world (at all), and while his work isn't my style, it's amazing to watch him work. If you ever get the chance, check him out. It was also cool to meet a few fellow SG members there! Cheers! 
Yesterday was my first all vegetarian day.
YAY! I cooked dinner for Cherrylove13 and I. It was baked bean burritos (vegetarian baked beans of course), and I picked up enough food to make dinner the rest of the week. I tried to start the veg thing this weekend... which was hard because we were doing the fast food thing, or bar food thing... you know how it goes. Anyway, I thought I was being good. We were at Wendy's... "I'm going to get a salad!" Cherrylove13 is like "are you sure?" And here comes my great logic "Yea! I can start the veg thing easily... I love their chicken salads... oh wait... um... maybe after the expo... Spicy chicken sandwich please." For the record, it sucked and I couldn't even make it 1/2 way thru it. I just didn't feel right. 
My mom sent me an email yesterday. It's always good to hear from her... well usually. My step-dad (who is cool as hell) had a brain cyst over the summer. I guess it was really close to killing him but they operated on it and he was fine. He had some memory issues, but most of them have passed, and he has been close to normal again. At least 85-95%. Well, they had a doctor visit a while ago because he started to get bad headaches again and they thought there may be some fluid backup... not a good thing, but not horrible. He had an MRI scheduled for a few days ago. Anyway, I guess the cyst/tumor thing has returned and it is slowly growing. They don't know what to do at this point. His doctor said that this was the first time he had ever seen that happen like it has. They can wait it out, or do the surgery again. Of course both options suck. He's lucky he came out the first time with his memory as good as it was, and to chance that a second time...
I think they plan on hoping for the best and waiting it out. So that was some shitty news to hear last night. 
So sorry if I am not my normal cheery self... I'm trying though!
On a brighter note, Cherrylove13 left me my first testimonial. Yay! Thanks kiddo!
Of course we all know she is biased.
... finally I WILL be changing my name this week for sure... Hope that no one forgets me in the process.

good luck on the veggie thing, did i ask you before if you had tried quorn....its a great meat substitute.
