Things just dont seem to be getting better. This has got to be a record low for Halloweens that suck.
As I walk through the door, I throw my under appreciated cop costume on the floor and grab the bowl of unclaimed Halloween candy.
Not a big turn out? The numbers get smaller every year.
I think to myself; Have I become too old for this holiday that once brought me so much magic and wonder? Or has everyone else ruined it with booze and fireworks?
Childhood fantasys and memories will fade and be replaced with regret.
