I know because many times I resent being one.

Oh, and people are crazy. So damn needy and selfish.
Maybe that's why I resent them.

Yeah, that's how I feel many days... especially when sick and stuck at work.
And when my apparent sick brain kicks in and I do or say things that don't make sense or I forget.
Or make up really random and mostly bad zombie jokes as we did at work today. Wish I could remember some of the good ones and forget the ones that didn't quite work right.

Yeah, exactly. And the thing is I know guys like that who always end up with new girlfriends while I've been struggling to find a girlfriend for the past 4 years. The worst part is girls usually say I'm "too nice" so they'd never go out with me. That, or I find girls with no brains who have interest in me and after 2 minutes of attempted conversation I feel like I'm in grade school again and wish I never started a conversation at all.
I can say it's not good to freeze your heart or stop feeling. After 4 years there are days that I am super numb and I can tell you that sometimes I miss the pain because it reminds me that I actually feel something. Feeling nothing is scarily empty. While dealing with the pain sucks and shouldn't happen, it will always be better to feel than have nothing at all.

Didn't get any new ink today at the Minneapolis Tattoo Convention. However, I did meet someone who was impressed with my scribbles...Maybe it will lead to an apprenticeship?! I hope!!!
I was hugely disappointed in the convention this year. Smaller than last year - and not a ton of local booths - what the what????
