Yeah....so I was driving home last night & swirved to miss a critter in the road....it was raining, so my car went in a ditch....not just any ditch though.....one that was filled w/water! So, my engine is flooded & as I sat in my car trying to figure out what had just happened & make sure I wasn't dreaming....water started to rush in at my feet. so, I called tripple A to tow it & while waiting for that & calling ins. a cop impounded my car & has a hold on it, so the ins. co can't get it! I have nothing but his name & every time I call to ask what I need to do to release it, they just say they'll take my # & he'll call me back.....which he hasn't all day. The 10th time I called, he was off duty! So nice why are cops in my town such a pain in the ass.
I have a friend that's a city cop who said they would've checked to make sure it wasn't stolen & then just left it. ....I should've been downtown & been ok. Oh well. I was looking for a new car, so maybe now I'll be getting one?
I had planned on going to the Heavy Rebel Weekender this weekend...I just hope I can still go & this doesn't turn into some crazy $ ordeal
