wow, I hadn't updated my journal in so long it took me a minute to figure it out! 
Its going ok down here. I still haven't adjusted...at all. I love the weather & the beach...& that's all I love about it. I've gotten quite agro, especially at work! ahaha people seem a bit afraid of me...
I went to a pretty good show Sat though. Saw, The Defillers....they were sooo much better than I'd ever expected! They are really great! They're local, so hopefully they'll be out some more.
I brought my friend & boyfriend with me though....they aren't into rockabilly, or punk....in any way.
so they didn't quite get it. I was really frustrated w/them there. My good friend kept critiquing (can't spell that one!) what all these girls were wearing. One chick had on a really little punk attire....old school punk. Like Sid & Nancy style. I thought she was adorable & all my friend was doing was bitching about how her pants weren't flattering & the muscle T didn't go so well with them! 
I got soooo pissed off! I explained that it was a style she was going for & that she didn't get it out of a "what's hot" section of Cosmo. or see it on fashion emergency! It was really just a bit pathetic to know that my 2 best friends don't have any idea what I like....in the sense of music, style....its sad. They're fun people, so I'm just going to have to try to educate them! Hopefully they can be a bit more open minded. I really thought they were to begin with, that is one of the reasons I'm their friend. Who knows...I'm sure it will get better.
Oh, I also got a DAMN speeding ticket on an industrial park road that NOBODY is ever on! Its where my apt. complex is & I honestly didn't know why the cop pulled me over....till he looked at me & said, "you were going 50, in a 35" .....DAMN Jersey plates! I swear I wasn't going that fast. I hate cops
