if i see one more person list their IQ on their profile, im just gonna fuckin snap. puke i would rather see people demonstrate their intelligence by what they write in their journals than by telling me how high their IQ is. is it just me?

i went to my 10 yr hs reunion last year. it was strange. my graduating class was small - a/b 100 people. but there were only a few i kept in touch w/ and a few others i was interested in catching up w/. but it was a chance for my husband to see the town i grew up in. and a chance to see one of my best friends. other than that, no sense of redemption or revenge or anything. mostly i just looked around and thought to my self - if we weren't friends 10 years ago, why should i pretend that we are now? still, i don't regret going. it was kind of enlightening. made me feel grown up.

im staying in tonight because we went out last night and sweated our asses off in a couple bars, i think the high yesterday was 86 degrees and bars dont believe in air conditioning. i need a night to get back my ass before i go out again. wink

i always think it's an amazing phenomenon that everyone thinks everyone else in the world except their friends are stupid assholes. myself included. i think it's b/c, although humans are social animals, we were n't meant to live in crowds and on top of each other like we do now. that kind of intensity makes people crazy. and you take refuge by saying those crazy folks aren't me - i'm the only sane one!

yeah, i pretty much do worry that much all the time. bout different stuff tho. i like variety. all my wrinkles are worry wrinkles - how sad! instead of laugh lines.

i LOVE road trips! my most recent one was to vegas in march. i miss vegas. right after i got back FX premiered their new show Lucky (by the way, my favorite number is 13) - and i watched a few episodes - it's really funny and gives me my vegas fix. i watched a couple tonight as a matter of fact.

sorry - i'm not very good at travelling cheap. i would guess search the web, but i couldn't tell you where. sorry.

does anyone else do this...you get really stoned and just start saying every weird, insane, usually repressed thought that comes into your head? i did that on friday night and we laughed our asses off for 2 straight hours. then i went home and slept for about 13 hours. im a weirdo. wink

yeah, i get really wordy when i'm stoned too. only i can't remember what i'm talking about. the thing i really hate though, is when something seems really profound at the time and then later you realize all you were saying/writing/babbling over and over was 'we're out of coffee' or something. the laughing part is always the best though. i guess i'm a weirdo too.
