nearly died of alcohol poisoning
had to jump off a runaway buggy being pulled by clydesdales that went nuts (seriously, that really happened)
gotten tickets from a highway patrolman, sheriff's deputy, motorcycle cop, park ranger, regular po-po
hallucinated on morphine
ridden a mechanical bull
survived my town being destroyed by 8 tornadoes when i was 5 years old (grand island, nebraska)
was the passenger in a hit and run (we did the hitting and running, but we got away with it and there was no one in the cars we hit)
worked at a fireworks store and almost blew it up by setting some off right outside the front doors while they were open
broke some ribs so bad they were sticking up through my skin like a tent pole
i was born on friday the 13th
so was my grandfather
been to the top of the eiffel tower
handled an angry python
been kicked out of canada by border patrol
almost died in the hospital (not from the alcohol poisoning, from something else i dont really like to talk about because it was a very dark period of my life)
saw ray charles in concert
streaked through an arboretum at the university of michigan in december
spent a night in jail (not for streaking)
had my parents get divorced
lived in 7 states
found out when i was 17 that i had a half brother
got a perfect score on the math section of my teacher program entrance test
been hit in the back with an aluminum baseball bat
passed out in a snow drift
been fired
never had a cavity
jumped off a cliff into a river
narrowly escaped hitting a bison that was walking in the road
had a friend commit suicide
driven over a mountain pass during a blizzard where i couldnt see to the end of my car's hood
had a girl insist on buying me a drink at a bar (i'll always remember that cuz it will probably never happen again)
had my bag searched coming OFF the plane on my way back from london (should have shaved)
been lost by myself in paris
had a flat tire on a highway in north dakota in the dead of winter at 2 am

Driving up to Seattle for easter, in a car we'd only just gotten 24 hours earlier, we were in a 30-car pile up where we were pushed out and turned upside down. Then we nearly got hit again by a semi that had previously been carrying sulphuric acid.
Moved in with a guy I'd known for 2 weeks, got engaged 2 weeks after that, and have been together for 10 years since then.
