havent written anything for a few days cause my mom's been in town. entertaining your parents is exhausting sometimes, but im glad i got to see her. she's going to australia next to see my sister and brother-in-law and my nephew. i dont have the green for that trip, but maybe if everyone around me spoke with an australian accent i would think i was there. any volunteers? whatever whatever

Thank you for the kind words, lucky13. I, as you do, have the dream of meeting someone who understands me. Someone who just by smiling at me could make me feel wonderful no matter how bad my day is going. I'm very afraid of getting older and becoming lonely. I'm really afraid of becoming one of those old people that sits alone, looking real sad and makes you wonder what their life was like, and where their family is... And yes, the fear of loosing my job is a big one too, since the job market in Portland (I noticed you live here too!) really sucks. I hope to see you around on SG and maybe around town smile
