okay, so my sweet, docile tarantula moulted a few weeks ago, 'giving birth' to her evil twin self. see? old atilla and new atilla:
yes, i kept her skin. i'm a proud mama. my little girl's all grow'd up. *tear*
k, so old atilla was lethargic, easy to handle, cuddly... new atilla.. well..
see those two big tufts in the middle of her head? yeah, those are the muscles that control her fangs. so she's all of a sudden a speedy, aggressive terror who almost had my hand for dinner a few nights ago. hence the -30 woolen sock on my hand whilst holding her in that picture.
in other news, my heterosexual life partner, rebecca<---(her brand new sparkly website, go look) has a show at the arts club (backstage lounge) in granville island, this wednesday the 29th, at 10pm. it's called west coast wednesdays and she is one of four performers. $5 cover. well worth it. you should be there.
