HALLOWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN 2005
**disclaimer** i have been violently ill for a week now. expectations pertaining to my level of activity with regards to halloween festivities should remain low.
i present to you our lame effort at halloweeny-ness:
my little bex had a show at Sailor Hagars in north van. hockey was on, the place was packed, we were optimistic. turned out to be a bunch of uninterested, unfestive, boring people. well, maybe not a bunch. actually, everyone left right before bex and benny started. they were opening for benjamin keith, and a band called "A Sheep at the Wheel". yes. sheep.
i give you bex' review: they were... interesting. (I'm possibly going to hell...) The lead singer was dressed like Brandon Lee from the Crow, but had some really awkward dance moves and egg-shaker-ing to go along with the swing-meets-creed-meets-loungesinger thing. I do respect that they do it though.
(she's way too nice.)
and just think.. we could have been at the roxy for their 'haunted whore house'. (kudo's for admitting it.. a llama can't help being a llama, now can it??)

i know how you feel, last winter i was sick for about 3 months (a cold that just hung around). I talk to my grandparents every week and my grandmother was so worried about me.....she's so nice....my grandfather on the other hand was a paratrooper in the war, so a 3 month cold is nothing to him
