Hey SG Land! I'm sure a lot of you have heard about the category EF4 tornado that hit down in Georgia recently. Turns out I happened to be over in the area it touched down when it happened... luckily the house I was in was not hit and I am okay!
I was trapped in the neighborhood for practically the entire day and over the weekend there was no power. There is still no wifi in the area(atleast since last night, according to the people I was staying with) -- I have some pictures but I will only share one as I dont want to give away the actual area I was in (for safety purposes) .
It was really bad and a lot of people lost everything. I'm going to be packing up some of my clothing and other things and offering donations to the families that no longer have these things. Im also thinking of starting a GoFundMe for these families, if anyone knows of one opened already please link it below and if you have anything to give please donate so we can make sure these families can get back on track!
