So for this week's blog homework, I've chosen to write about sketching-drawing-cartooning- etc.
So for those who have seen my Instagram, I have posted a picture that I've been drawing today, it is just a rough sketch and sort of looks comic-ish style.

So it's a self portrait collage- but I am looking forward to collaging a few other people as well--
I know it's not perfect, but that's what art is all about, just expressing yourself, and it doesn't have to be perfect!!!

My pawpaw was a drawer and painter, he has a lot of good work, sadly he passed away when I was about one and a half. But I think I got my artist talents from him
I have actually been looking into getting a digital sketchpad and drawing comics on Webtoon! The comics would be about me and my life and I think it would be so much fun! I wouldn't draw myself as human though, I would be some sort of fantastical creature, like maybe an elf, or I could be my world of Warcraft character, a draenei!!
Either way, I have definitely been thinking about it a lot recently, and I have been researching sketchpads :p
Do you prefer pen and paper, or digital?
My preference at the moment is pen and paper (because I have literally never owned or tried a digital sketchpad lol)
But once I try out the digital I will do another blog homework centered around digital drawing.
