the husband is cutting down the dead tree in the front yard, I have to finally admit the drought killed it. This makes me very sad because it was a tree from my parents farm that I grew up on and they no longer live there so I can't get another one.

Losing tress really sucks. We've lost two elms in the past couple of years- big, beautiful spreading trees. Sorry about yours. And what's wrong with the job? I thought it was great there.

Job front is government crap and budget shit, lots of talk about losing positions and stuff and for a while it looked like I was going to be forced to second shift or loose my switch partner and not be off on the weekends for Faire. Now I just get second shift one day a week, its just kind of nutty and I want out of there for political reasons but have to finish school (by October I should be done). Now if I can just figure out what is wrong with Alcatraz then my life might not be so stressful for a while.
