Today promises to be a good day...up in LR to attend AR State Board Of Nursing hearings for wayward nurses, meeting up with my overworked and overtired brother and his lovely friend, then back home to do Nothing on Friday...
well, that is easier said than done--I will probably study some...would feel guilty if I didn't.
Especially since Ren and I went out-of-town Tues. night and Wed. to play blackjack at the casino.
Saying you are going to the casino is like saying you are going to *the club*.
There is more than one club, (in AR it is pronounced thuh cl-huhb), as there is more than one casino.
It is not which one you are going to when announced, yet that you are going...then, when asked, you answer with the same exaggerated flourish the impressive name of your destination, conveying to your listener that when you get there, you are not just there--you have ...arrived

If I never cut my hair again (beyond a normal trim) then I'll be a happy camper. I go about twice a year to get it trimmed. Last time I got about 5 inches cut off ... that hurt.
I love being good at what I do ... no one ever asks me to cut my hair. Worst case scenario is putting it back in a pony tail (which I do a lot during the summer anyway).
Yep, going cross-country ... back up the the Pacific NW. I love it up there ... if I ever move from here, that's most likely where I'll end up. It's a shame you can't go more than 3 hours in any direction. I like to travel ... but then I like to stay home too ... so maybe it's not so bad after all.
