If my complex's fire alarms keep going off I'm going to have to start wearing pants at home.
That's twice in one night!! But at least I wasn't livestreaming this time!
We've had 4 alarm trips that I've been home for in the past few weeks. One at 2am... Some of you might remember one during a livestream a month or so back too.
Joking aside it's a huge source of anxiety for me because I have no way to get both cats out quickly and safely (their transport carrier is too bulky for me to carry down the long hallways and stairs without risk of injury to myself or them) and so I keep having to leave them behind and it kills me even when it's a false alarm.
I'm worried about my elderly neighbours and those with small kids. I'm worried about everyone who doesn't grab a mask on their way out and then crowds back into the common area to wait for the elevators. I worry people will start ignoring it and staying inside because it's been a false alarm so many times lately.
Okay vent over... But fuck.
