This weeks blog homework is my kind of thing, my 13 Favourite Horror Films of All Time!
This topic is absolutely impossible for me, and I've never been good at following 'rules' (probably why I'm here in the first place right?). So I'm going to have to break them down into series I love, stand alone favourites and such... Here's my list! You've been warned!
This list is by no means all encompassing... I really should give you all a tour of the household horror collection some time!
Series: A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Child's Play, Candyman, The Evil Dead + Hatchet are all on my rewatch at least once annually list all of them are absolute classics!
Stand Alone: I consider the first Alien movie truly a horror film so it lives here. Along with Slither, High Tension (Haute Tension), Wyrmwood, Cabin in the Woods, The Void, The Howling, Night of the Demons, Night of the Creeps, Terror Train + Sleepaway Camp.
Lovecraftian Goodness: Re-Animator, In The Mouth of Madness, From Beyond, Dagon.
Things Are Getting Weird, the following are films I absolutely adore but cannot recommend to anyone usually, well... not without them thinking I'm seriously messed up:
Night of Something Strange + Street Trash.
