I remounted the main 2x4 beam to the post with bigger braces and added old carpet pieces and little steps on the ramp. I added a couple brackets to the main beam, so I can add a stepped platform or two above the main platform. It's honestly pretty simple, though. I'll post a pic or two once I finish. But even then, I may continue tweaking it. I have more ideas.
Remember when... I was able to shoot photosets? I just wanted to make it clear that this is still something I want to do. I haven't fully vanished it's just hard to be here when I have nothing to show off. I'm currently trying to meet local photographer types with at least some experience in this realm so I can take this to the next level... and working on funding the projects since obviously time with someone good costs money. If you haven't checked out my old sets yet you know what to do! ILY 🧡

We have lots of fires in Oregon. The county where my dad's assisted living facility is, about 15 minutes south of me, is on evacuation alert, though some areas have already had to evacuate or are on notice to be prepared to leave on a moment's notice. They are having all the residents where he is pack 3 days worth of clothing, meds, and toiletries in case they need to evacuate. :\

I like that you've been active again lately. It's good to have you back. I've been working from home since 3/24 and our office lease is up soon, so the company is making work from home indefinite. If we get a vaccine or high enough herd immunity, maybe they'll look at leasing another office next year. But, they may decide they don't need one. (Or they may eventually eliminate all of our positions and have the work done at one of the existing offices on the west coast. :/ ) But, I like working from home so far. I miss some of my coworkers, but I don't miss the commute and the bad (though free) coffee, and I'm saving money by not eating out as much or driving as much. I'm not as active as I was, though. I definitely need to come up with some activities or get back on my treadmill. I hope things work out for you. It sounds like your social network has been great. Now just a matter of the job situation getting back to normal. <3
