Today was a wonderful day. Reverend Danyul and I celebrated our "official" 2 year anniversary. There was a full moon on this night two years ago.The moon's energy pulled us even closer together. We became one...it was an amazing night.
Today...
We slept in ...and then m'love made us some french toast. Delicious. We took the pups to the park for a while because it was nice outside today. While sitting at the park I suggested that we should go to Tunica Hills again one day. Danyul asked..why not go today? So...we packed up from the park..went home to change into Tunica clothes...pack a lunch and water and such..and went to Tunica.
We got there around 3ish. Once we reached the first bit o'creek we took our shoes off. We trekked for the next couple of hours barefoot. We were walking through the creek, climbing over rocks and enjoying the shade. Our pups were showing off by leaping from rocks into the creek and running up the cliffs and such. Silly puppies. We made it to the big waterfall with the deep pool and stopped to have lunch. It started thundering a bunch....so we just waited around for a while. It sprinkled a little...but the trees caught most of it. Then we decided to venture forward and continue the path to the end. A tree had fallen in the path so we had to find a way around it. So we went climbing barefooted through the cliffs and trees and made it back to the creek. Tunica has alot of slippery clay. Danyul started throwing clay balls at Tilda...making them stick to her. She was clueless. I smeared Madeline with clay. Then Danyul and I smeared each others' faces with "tribal" markings..being silly . Towards the end of the path we washed our faces and put our shoes back on. Sharp rocks aren't friendly to bare feet. So....we finally made it back to the car and stopped by the Pond store for icecream sandwiches. So..that was Tunica.
We took a shower...me, Danyul, Matilda (boxer), and Madeline (1/2 weenie dog). That's alot of bodies for 1 bathtub. We bathed the dogs first, checking for ticks and whatnot....then dried them off. They get so excited after baths and run around all crazy. We showered...dried... then made sweet love. Lovely.
Finally we got dressed and then put some advantedge on the pups and kitty (Basco Le Bad)....it was time to dose them..and right after their baths was the perfect time since we can't bathe them for a few days. Last time we put advantedge on them we took them to play with Madeline's sister. Somehow...in a dry yard...they managed to find the 1 muddy spot. All 3 of them were covered in mud...so we had to rinse them..and the advantege off. Damnit. So..no playing in the mud for them. Not for a few days anyway.
We decided to go see Star Wars again tonight. We ate at Wendy's first...since we were hungry and still have an hour til the movie started..and Wendy's was the closest food type place. Didn't get a toy..but I got a frosty..mm. So..off toTinseltown after we ate. There were 3 other people in the theater. 2 of them were photo grad students...I couldn't remember their names....so I pretended I didn't see them. They didn't see me anyway..unless they were just pretending as well. *shrug*
Anyway..that was my lovely day. It was a very long day...even though we slept in. Wow....this is a long entry. If anyone's read this...then they had alot of time to spare. No apologies for boring readers...for I enjoyed retelling my day...for it was wonderful.
Bleh...I have to work tomorrow. Guess I should go to bed now. Fuck work.
