Let's see...
I'm in the process of dying my hair right now. It always makes me feel better. I've been sick lately. Luckily, the last 2 days have been my days off from work. So..I didn't have to miss work (money). Danyul was a bit sick the week of graduation...and then he passed it to me. I got very sick. Sinus infection and all kindsa sickly feelings. My internals stayed solid though.
So..pretty much I've just been hella congested and coughing up a rainbow..minus the blue and purple. This sucks. The other night I had a fever and Danyul was being sweet and taking care of me. So...as I'm getting better, Danyul catches it again..this time with the force of mine. So, we are both sick now. I'm trying to recover. Bleh. Chicken noodle soup for both of us tonight. I kinda like soup anyway.
I have to work tomorrow...at 8 fucking am. Grr. Damn covering for other people's shifts. But...I do get off at 4..which is nice. I'll either come home and crash after work...
...or go swim suit shopping with a friend. I've tried several places..but they all suck. I have a couple of places left to try...but I'm sorta limited since I'm not willing to pay a whole hell of alot. I'd like to stay under $30. I can do it. Fuck expensive swim suits. I don't go swimming THAT much anyway. But..I haven't bought one since I was 16 (when my parents forced me to buy one so I wouldn't wear vinyl pants on the beach...crazy little goth)...so...it's been almost 8 years since I've bought one for myself. I've relied on the kindness of roommates for the past several years. Now that I live with m'love Danyul...well, he doesn't own any bikinis...only shorts. I've gotten away with shorts and such for a while, but I feel like something new. Ok, enough swim suit babble.
I had to babysit this morning. It was quite a bitch since I'm all sick and hacking/snotting. I had to watch 3 kids (2 artists and 1 jedi)...at 845 this morning. I hate being up so early. Especially on my day off. Especially when I'm sick. Bleh. I took a nap when they left around 1230. I'm glad it wasn't a whole day affair. Last tuesday when I watched them...we all went to the zoo. Danyul is so wonderful. I might have gone crazy without his help.
Ok, time to go rinse the dye. I feel better. I'll feel much better if it turns out nicely. I have to limit myself with my dye due to my stupid job. But..it pays...and jobs that allow lurvely hair...either don't exist...don't interest me...or don't pay. Eventually, when I'm a self-sustaining artist or after our business takes off and becomes my full time job..then I'll have lurvely hair. I miss my plum hair. *sheds a tear* Purple was always my favorite (though the trickiest to keep from staining things other than hair).
Ok...enough of an update.
