Things are looking better in the dark pit of despair that is my life (sorry, emo moment there). I'm making the best of this shithole of a town. I go to at least one punk show a week and mosh my brains out. My town has always had a really good close knit punk scene and it kinda feels good to be back in a big group of crazy friends. Most of them are about 22 but whatever. Their energy is contagious.
Of course there's the one jealous bitch who hates me and is trying to make my life hell. I'm trying not to let her succeed but she's really persistent. She came up to me at a show Friday and I completely ignored her so she grabbed my arm when I tried to walk away so hard I can see the shape of her fat little fingers in bruise form there now. When I finally got away she threw a punch at the back of my head which my wonderful friend caught for me instead. Fucked up his lip ring pretty bad too. Who punches someone in the back of the head? Her big thing is making fun of me for being a stripper. Like that's an insult! I'm proud I was and I had a damn good time doing it! I think she's just jealous cuz she's about 75 pounds overweight and dresses like she's dropping the kids off at soccer. I'm all for full figured girls but she goes way over that line.

Anyway, onto the good stuff. I got a job as a piercer! My fabulous more-than-friend Jake hooked me up with it. He's the fabulous tattoo artist who will be making my body beautiful (and happy) as soon as possible and for as long as possible.
Anyway, he works at a fairly new shop that doesn't have a piercer and while I was in there visiting the owner just set up an apprenticeship for me at a reputable shop around here with a great piercer and hired me! I'm ecstatic! I've wanted to do this for years, but when I asked about it at the shop I used to go the guy said it'd cost me $2000, so there was no way i could do it. Does anyone know if it's normal protocol to pay for apprenticeships? For the one I have now I just have to do whatever crap work nobody else wants to do, which is just fine with me!
I'm hoping to get a decent amateur shoot up very soon, like this month. I don't think I'll submit it but practice is always good. Then hopefully I can get a pro one shot before it gets too cold. I just wanna get a few more tats done and possibly a couple more piercings. I kinda wanna put a little tiny one in my dimple but I'm not sure. Maybe my face is metally enough.
