It depends on how they hurt you. If it was a relationship that went badly then I think it is fine to talk to them, just talk to them, on a very casual and not too intimate level. You shouldn't put yourself in a situation where you think you'd get back with them though. So, if you aren't positive that you don't want to get involved I wouldn't talk to them.
Sometimes you can have good friendships with someone who you should have never been in a relationship with.
I guess I don't really know your situation though. Good luck.

I tend to go with the past is the past for a reason. Unless there is some very good reason to give them another chance. If you do let them back into your life and they hurt you again, I say kick them to the curb as soon as it happens, no questions asked. Second chances are sacred to me.

Ok I'm finally over my horrid weekend sadly my week hasnt been any better I found out we arent going to Guam which kills me but i guess we staying in Jax. One of my uncles(Bill) died on like the 13th of July but I didnt know it untill now cause I guess no one could find my address or phone number so my other uncle (Kenneth) didn't go to Bill's funeral because he was mad at Bill for not being at my Dad's funeral (he couldnt come for health reasons) and according to Kenneth I was really mad at Bill for not showing at my Dads funeral which isn't the case and I staightend that out, So the retarded part is that Kenneth used my Dad as a scapegoat so he wouldnt have to drive 4 hours for a funeral. Well that's about all I have to bitch about. hagd
