So, I'm dealing with some issues right now. Got a guy that wants to date me/see where things could go with me. Great right? Got a friend who will never be ok with me having a relationship with said guy cuz she slept with him and had more than like feelings for him. Guy says he wants a good girl to settle down with and I can already see a change in him from the guy i knew a year ago. Friend doesn't think he's good enough for me and thinks i deserve better.

So, do u see my dilemma?

Don't want to lose my friend over a guy that she thinks isn't good enough. Don't want to lose guy over friend who is looking out for me, in a way. Don't want to lose chance at something that could possibly be amazing for fear of losing a friendship that i love.

Why can't it just be, "Do what makes u happy, no matter what it is or who its with?" If it doesn't work out, she is more than welcome to say, "I told u so!!!" But what if she's wrong? What if he has changed from who he was two years ago?

I'm so different from any girl that he's ever dated that I have to think that there's a reason for that. Even after just spending a few days talkin to each other, not seeing each other, he's tellin other girls that he's taken. And he used to be the guy that would not pass up on an opportunity is an appealing enough one presented itself.
