sooooo ya still no news on the burlesque gig or the vegas trip...
did everyone have a lovely weekend?
i surely did! it began with fri and a phone call from my favourite boy ever ... the Guitar God... telling me that they pulled out of the WARPED TOUR after only 1 date.... apparently the other bands were in awe of the fact that they were there and playing such a small festival so their new mgr yanked them out.
good for them!
so instead i picked them up in pacoima and we ventured back into hollywood to go to the VIPER ROOM and see our good friends in the band DRAMA ADDICT rock the house!
my dear old friend FISH also came to check them out (he used to be in FISHBONE) and loved them! YAY!
there was another band that played called TATTOOED MILLIONAIRE that i also adored...hmm gonna have to google them!
bah! i cant think of much to discuss...
its been too bloody hot in LA!!

sat nite i did go to ATOMIC TATTOO in Hollywood where the lovely and fabulous cyrus works the counter like a pro and got 2 new tats!! its 1 really but for symmetry's sake there is one on each arm
its a bit of a tribute... got it on someones b-day...someone that i call "B"
anyhow. tomorrow is another photo day at school...so much prep work to be had! GAH!
i also shot a new set with the amazing kayliane yesterday. we had a barrel of fun so i hope the pics turn out!
now i suppose its time for me to go and dye my hair and get my wardrobe and props ready for my shoot tomorrow... i am keying said shoot, this means that i am the key make up artist
we are using a new photographer so hopefully the pix wont be as wretched as the last batch....
oh and p.s....the door guy at the viper room that calls himself "casper" is mad cute!!*UPDATE* well sorry to disappoint you my lovlies but i didnt make the burlesque tour...i didnt really expect to due to the uh...lack of SKILL in my "dancing" ahem...attempts....but i have been insured that next year i will be asked to try again....hmmm GUESS YOU ALL JUST HAVE TO COME SEE ME!!

I'll be down there for a little bit longer this time so I'll have more time to play with. I actually have some ideas of stuff to do this time besides going to The Rainbow. Ever heard of a bar called CIA? I guess it's a bar and a human oddity museum all rolled into one.
