they closed my old store yesterday. i wasn't there. i was at my old old store running it.
its very sad. the company isnt compensating the employees in any way. one of them has a small child and another on he way. he was woriking 2 jobs just to make ends meet for his family. they gave them no warning for fear they would walk or steal... he was the only employee to say through the entire closing process and then all they have to say to him is "ok well thanks for one dedicated year of your life and for staying through the duration of our closing your store and taking your job, have a nice life"
i want to quit now more than ever!!
im damned if i do and damned if i dont!! had i stayed on at my store i would be unemployed today. but ...because i left i was passed up for the managers positions of 2 other stores that just became availible.
i think maybe its time to get evil!
