What a lovely weekend I've had!
A surprise earlier-than-expected early shift at work on Friday. This was followed by a nice meal with one of my favourite girls. We had Wagamama and it was amazing. Always lovely to see her and catch up. She's one of those 'will always be your friend no matter how long it is between seeing each other times'. One of the few people I've met at uni who I feel like that about, who fit the 'friends you make at university are your friends forever' category. I will always have time for this girl.
This was followed by a night out with one of my friends from work who's awesome. It turned out to be a really good night up until her boyfriend went crazy emotional drunk and got all ridiculous. Bless him. They broke up the next day which is awful :(. The photographer took a few nice photos of us that night though. The music was on form and dancing was done. Good people and good fun. My lovely little pixie.
Next day I traveled to see the beautiful @fische for her birthday, met the gorgeous @holley and the super lovely @getzzzonked! Her little boy is SO adorable too! It was a long journey, about 3 and a half hours but I am partial to a train ride every now and again. Was totally worth it too as we had a super fun night. No stupid hangovers! Motown was simply amazing, too. Not enough clubs play that stuff and it's the absolute best to dance to. Met some lovely people and @fische was a gracious host and let me share her bed ;) Now you're jealous!
After the long-arse train journey home, falling asleep twice and having to be woken up by the lad next to me I had a nice meal with my boy and went to bed at HALF EIGHT ready for work today. And I've had a lovely day at work too! Life is pretty good.
