The rattle of rain on the metal
Heavens outpouring, unrelenting, unfettered.
All the woes and worries of a world in tears
While I stand here and listen... tell me your tale, unburden your heart and see the sky
I cannot give you answers. What good would they do?
But release your troubles and sorrows and tomorrow, the sun may shine.
It can be easier telling strangers than people you know
about the things that you normally try not to show.
It's got something to do with how you think they'll react.
How much they'll accept what you say to be more exact.
