I'd love to write some awesome quotes for the good guys but it just doesn't play out that way.
Passed 40K words on the second book in The Deep System and really enjoying throw characters who didn't get on well in teh first book back together again. I love some of the interplay and in one conversation, Asatei and Yseult face off a little and I was writing a moment between them and Asatei came out with this.
So happy with it: I thought it really captured her character and how she tries to handle Yseult who knows she is impulsive while Asatei is calculating. I think the relationship between these two is really going to be fun to write.
The Deep System is a feminist (so I'm told by my feminist friends) gritty, industrial post-urban decay, Solar System spanning Science Fiction conspiracy series. Book One: Boxrunner is being re-drafted but beta readers who would like to read it in sections as each part is finished and who are happy to give feedback are welcome.
