It's taken long enough but I've finally finished my first novel. I say finished, it's the first draft and there is plenty of work yet to be done but it's there, all 130,000 words. Some chapters need tweaking, others re-writing completely but the most important thing is that I like it. I like the story, I love the characters and even if no-one else ever reads it... I'm glad I did it.
