Hello hello,

Being home has been quite nice. I haven't had a whole lot of purpose the last five days or so but that's been nice. I'm not complaining. After we got back from Europe the vegetable garden was a disaster, foot high weeds, overgrown grapes collapsing trellises, the works, so I've been working to get that upto speed. It looks much better now And I've been eating a lot. I made smoked salmon yesterday. I missed American food.

Today I'm not sure what to do, it's raining a lot. I was going to take my kayak out but that wouldn't be so fun in a downpour, it'd be fun if its just raining a little bit though so maybe if it slows down. I suppose I am supposed to start my thesis too.. yes, that would be good.

This was one of the most beautiful roads I've ever been on in my life. It goes straight up the side of one of the swiss alps...
