This is going to be an actual update update, i.e., i tell you whats going on in my life. It'll be short though, because theres not that much going on in my life.
First let me say that I hate this new SG format. It's aestetic overload, I don't need to see all of your beautiful faces in my journal. It's like the kind of thing you see with an over-zealous myspace user.
Ok good. Moving on. This week is finals week... I have three and two are take homes. That's probably what I should be working on right now instead of typing away at this thing, but I've actually been fairly productive in terms of thinking about the problems and devleoping strategies to solve them. Now I just have to back it up with some hard work.
In roughly two weeks, as many of you may know, is Christmas. I'm going home for the break next Saturday, I'm very exciting. I'm kind of a mama's boy and I like being home a lot
This is the first birthday/christmas I've had in awhile where there's actually options for gifts that I want. I gave my mom a list, which is unusual. I think it made her happy but I still felt like an asshole for enumerating the material possessions that would make my life some marginal amount better. Speaking of presents, I have to go find some things to bring home. Luckily, my dad is easily pleased. Thats one down.
While staying on the topic of home/here... I have to decide whether I want to take this wilderness first responder class over spring break or go home. I feel like i should probably take the wilderness first responder class, as the choice really boils down to sitting on the couch at home when my family is at school/work or actually accomplishing one of my goals and doing something productive over break. The downside is that I may not be able to go home for AWHILE, but maybe home will have to come out and visit me.
For you slackers, I'll put a question of the day in bold

I've noticed that a disproportionate amount of SG members are Mac users. This probably reflects the fact that Apple, a big evil corporation, has managed to convince the world the microsoft is the only big evil corporation But anyway, you should all enjoythis 'switch' parody if you havent already
