I'm aliiiiiiiiiive! I'll respond to comments soon, still decompressing and readjusting to society. In the meantime, I've missed roughly 70 SG sets... what were some good ones?!

Yes, my journal was looking bare. Which is very unusual. Thank you for populating it.

abyssia:
When will you tell us the tales of your adventure? I've probably missed as many sets as you - and I've been here. Vanessa really did an excellent one - and I just happen to seriously dig her.

The house is still standing though it's a rainforest inside - That should be corrected with the installation of a giant window a/c unit on Saturday, if all goes well. At least the bedroom has a unit. I wish there was a way to put central air in, but this house was built in 1914 with no such considerations.

Yup, you're back to mundane reality and I thought I'd bore you with a bit of it. ;o) Welcome home.

I am off to Alaska for a month! Don't take me off your friends list because I've disappeared. I will be back. And also, if I dont have lots of comments when I get back, Ill be utterly disappointed, so leave many! I'll send you a postcard if you do.

ARGH! That pushes me right over the fucking edge! I'm home in Philadelphia for the summer having just graduated from college and killing time until I go to Alaska. While I'm here I share a room with my brother who has no respect for anything. The first thing I did when I got home was spend three hours cleaning up the mess of a fucking...

I'm starting to train for a triathalon as soon as I get settled in California. Anyone done one?

Seakayaking in Alaska sounds like fun, though. There's that element of being in nature and having time to absorb the scenery. It's the push yourself to the limits for the sake of it type of thing that makes me cringe.

are you in hershey now?
under armor is very expensive. there's an outlet somewhere i think, maybe in MD? i dunno, but it's still prob freaking expensive!

and yes, i think you can love more than one person. i think you can love people differently. i don't know if you can be "in love" with more than one at the same time, at the true total level of being in love (whatever the fuck i just said, i don't know!) but i think you can. i guess. whatever. tongue

Today I went to the Dali exibit at the Philadelphia Musuem of Art. I actually liked it a lot and came out with more respect for Dali than when I went in. My previous opinion about him was that he was a talented and interesting artist that was basically full of shit. I still don't believe he remembers his experience in the womb, but my...

So I've been doing the stay-at-home-mom thing this week, and let me tell you, I have this house running like a well-oiled maaaachine! The laundry is in order, things are clean, the garden is coming together. I planted spinach carrots and green beans in the veggie garden yesterday. I've also been cooking a lot. This is why I love summer: warm weather, grilled food, my...

Ok, I'm officially sad about leaving college. I miss my friends, already. It's not going to be the same. I didn't think I'd be this sentimental about it, ::sigh::

I got a 4.0 for my last semester though, thats a nice way to go outsmile

My college career is OVER!

I kind of stumbled to the finish. On my last final today, there was a question about the 4 necessary conditions for corrosion. I couldn't even MAKE UP four! So I put down an environmentally unfriendly republican president as onewink Hope my teacher gets a giggle.

Congratulate mebiggrin

I am so happy for you! I know it has been a long road so far and I hope you enjoy your summer before you dive back into it in the fall.

I am ready to be finished and all of my friends are graduating but I will be done soon enough, december. I have my first of 4 finals tomorrow afternoon. biggrin

I thought this article was one of the most interesting I've read in a long time... so I'm going to put the whole thing in here. It's a column from the New York Times. Scroll down to the bottom for the lazy option on how you may respond to this journal and make me happy.

Yep they are pretty much playing like crap. I think that the Mavs should take the series. Unless the Rockets take their heads out of their ass and start playing like they did in the first 2 games we deserve to lose. Sense a little hostility? mad
