Yeah lyrics are the hard part.... For me it's trying to say something meaningful without it sounding forced or pompous! You know when music is good because it sounds right.. lyrics, not so much.... Maybe we should swap some lyrical stuff and mix it to each other's stuff... It might spark some inspiration.

Tool...new album is nothing special. There are a few moments when I'm like WOW, but overall it left me flat.
I have seen them 11 times met them 4 times and had a fight with Maynard. I knew them back in 1993, I guess I was an OGT. My friend was there promo manager in LA for Zoo Records and I was sent a copy of Opiate. It had just been released and was blown away.
I stayed with them until 2003 and everything tapered off. I still love the first 3 albums with Undertow still being a persoanl fave, but Mastodon fill that void and more for me now which is why I trekked to the US to see them and can't wait until April...fucking bliss!
